About CSRC
We are the Civil Society Research Collective (CSRC), a group of academic researchers from Wageningen University (the Netherlands), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (India) and Lehigh University (USA).
We were brought together through a collective research project (2017-2019) on the ways in which civil society advocacy contributes to inclusive development. Our project explores the way civil society organizations shape their advocacy roles. The project resulted in the our report Civil Society Dynamics. Shaping roles, Navigating Contexts, available on our website, as well as other publications and resources, to which we will add in the time to come.
The research was supported by the NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development-administered Assumptions research programme, funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This research programme was set up to inform future policy supporting the role of civil society actors as advocates for inclusive and sustainable development.
On this website showcasing this research programme you will find our project under its working title ‘Civil society collaborations in India’.
